About the Owners
Dream of Traveling Often and Living Simply
From the beginning, we have dreamed of traveling the world together and continuously exploring God's creation. The Emerald Mile Bus helped us fulfill that dream. We spent the past year living on the road full time and exploring all of the National Parks in the lower 48 states (you can watch our videos from the trip below). It was the trip of a lifetime and our skoolie was the most perfect tiny home on wheels. Now that our trip has come to an end, we are headed overseas for a while and want the bus to be utilized to its fullest. And now...it's SOLD! Can't wait to give details about the amazing couple that will be carrying on Emerald Mile Bus' legacy.

Virtual Bus Tour
We made this in-depth bus tour video while staying
at Glacier National Park. Enjoy!
Can you live off-grid?
The bus was designed to be self-sustainable. It's equipped with solar panels for electricity, a 28 gallon propane tank (for fridge, stove, hot water, and furnace), and a 65 gallon fresh water tank. The only reason to go back "on-grid" would be for fresh water, which typically needs refilled about every 2-3 weeks (propane tank typically lasts 2+ months).
Why a school bus?
This skoolie is a perfect tiny home on wheels. Benefits of a bus: lot of windows, lots of storage, and it drives itself. There's a full bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, dining room, living room, and even a "garage" for all of your gear. We love how it truly feels like a home and is more stylish and open-concept than typical RVs. Plus, the size allows us to live comfortably and everything has a place- we aren't having to put away the kitchen to unfold the bed every night. And most importantly, it allows us to trave wherever we want to gol!
